How to prepare it to use?
The table saw leaves the factory with heavy oil coating on everything. I would recommend you take mineral spirits and a lot of rags and give it a white gum before you try to get it off the pallet. Once it is on the ground, the first thing you need to do is install the cast iron extensions.
You might need to get a helper for that because these are quite heavy, and it’s hard to hold it up and get the bolts started. So, it will be a lot easier if you had two people to do it. Once you have installed them, you need to take a straight edge and make sure that they plane across with the main center table top.
The manual talks about the methods of zooming this to get them to pick up or down but mine was right on my required notion on either side, so that was quite easy to do. The next thing after the extensions are installed, is to establish the fence rails. You have to go one in the front and one in the back. The process is pretty easy.
